I tried protein bars from One, Think!, Quest, Pure Protein, Clif Builders, and Barebells. The Clif Builders protein bar was a bit high in calories but I enjoyed it. I tried all the cheeses I could find at Trader Joe's and ranked each one from worst to best. I didn't like the white Stilton cheese with apricots at all. Trader Joe's creamy Toscano cheese soaked in syrah was my favorite. To find which cheeses you should really be buying at Trader Joe's right now, I purchased 17 different kinds at my local New York City location and tasted each one. Here's how I'd rank them from worst to best — and which I'd definitely buy again.

I mixed the ingredients together before digging in. The flavor of the Thousand Island dressing was a little too strong for my liking. Ted BergI mixed all the ingredients up as best as I could before digging in. When I took the first bite, I discovered that the Thousand Island dressing was the most prominent flavor, which was probably my fault. I like Thousand Island on cheeseburgers, but I don't love it on salads.

To find the best recipe, I made sliders from celebrity chefs Ina Garten, Eddie Jackson, and Bobby Flay. I don't have access to an outdoor grill, so I cooked all of the sliders on a skillet.

Yearwood's dip took a surprisingly long time to make. I simmered the chicken in hot sauce for about an hour, but after trying a piece, I didn't think this gave the meat that much flavor. All the work seemed a little redundant when the recipe called for adding more hot sauce to the mayo mixture anyway. Once the chicken had simmered, I combined this mixture with the sour cream, mayo, cheddar, and a quarter cup of blue cheese. I thought the directions took an odd turn when they said to serve the dip "with the chicken" in step four.
